Hector Delmar Graduated with honours from the Master in Sustainable Design program at Sydney University in Sydney, Australia. Alumni of the Glenn Murcutt Master Class 2013. In 2012 he organized the first Sustainable Design Conference in Mexico City, gathering international academic talents to discuss about cities and sustainability. He studied architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana where he currently teaches. During his professional practice he worked with Carranza y Ruiz (carranzayruiz.com) and Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (sordomadaleno.com) designing public, residential and commercial projects. Founded his own firm HDA: HECTOR DELMAR ARQUITECTURA in 2014, he has designed and built award-winning projects in Mexico City, Oaxaca, Valle de Bravo and Guadalajara always concerned about good design and bioclimatic response to achieve thermal comfort in buildings.
